Workshops available to book online
Fused Glass Workshops, by Hope Best Design:
Come and release your inner crafting spirit while learning to work with glass. Suitable for beginners or intermediate. We’ll show you how to cut glass so that you can create your own designs or you can duplicate one of our examples. We will fire your design in one of our kilns and this will be ready for collection in 10-14 days. Closed shoes, long sleeve fitted clothing and no woollen clothing are essential.
Lantern Workshop – Make 6 panels of your own design which will be placed into a lantern. £65pp (can be done as a joint project by 2 people) 10:00 – 14:00
Taster Workshops – Make a Hanging Decoration and either a coaster or a panel to go in a frame. £40pp 11:00 – 12:30 or 13:30 – 15:00
Needle Felting Workshops, run by Helen:
Learn the basic skills to make your very own needle felted 3D project. Suitable for beginners or intermediate. All materials included. Bring your own kit or buy one to keep for £5 (buy online when booking your space on either of these workshops.)

Sewing Workshops, by Just Sew Jane:
Heart shape pin cushion/hanging decoration. Hand stitch your own pincushion or decorative heart. Using felt and embroidery thread learn a simple stitch to create this item. All materials included. £6pp 11:00 – 12:00
Tote Bag. Make your own tote bag for shopping or keeping your projects in.
Using a sewing machine create a tote bag with French seams and topstitched hems and handles. All materials included. £12pp. 13:00 – 14:30
Silver Clay Jewellery Taster Workshops, by Miss Wizz Jewellery:
During this workshop you will make a pair of earrings. You will learn rolling, texturing, moulding, refining, assembling and filing. Wizz will talk you through the firing, you are welcome to watch but she do it herself for health and safety purposes. You will then polish and finish your earrings to take away. Suitable for beginners or intermediate. All tools, equipment and materials included.

Mixed Media Workshops, by Barbara Daines:
Using a variety of techniques which we will teach you on the day, and using a combination of clay, stencils, various mixed media, inks, paints and more, you will be able to make yourself a unique item to take home with you on the day.

Textiles Workshop by Fi Redmond:
‘Cactus Mini Hoops’ Create a cute and cool mini hoop with scraps of fabric and a few easy stitches. All elements and tools provided. Suitable for age 11 to adult. £10pp. 10:00 – 11.30 / 11:45 – 13:15 / 13:30 – 15:00
Crochet workshops, by Alisha Hellard-Smith:
Join in with our Crochet for Beginners session if you’ve never learned to crochet, or who would like a refresher on the basic stitches. Make a basic granny square which you can then duplicate at home and make a blanket, etc.
If you already know the basics of crochet, you can join our intermediate workshop and learn a more specialist stitch! Further details to follow shortly.
There will also be yarn, hooks and patterns available to purchase on the day.
Children’s crafts, by The Crafty Hub:
There will be children’s crafts on throughout the day (10:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 15:00), on a drop in basis – no need to book in advance.
Crafts will included clay painting, pebble painting, Fairy house / bird house / treasure box paint and decorate, colour-in masks. Prices range from £1 to £5 per craft.
